Discover the potential of cannabis! Prague gears up for the world’s largest cannabis trade show Professional lectures, interesting workshops , hemp cosmetics, growing accessories, live music program… All this and more will be on offer at Cannafest: the 9th International Trade Show of Cannabis and Medicinal Herbs, taking place 2 – 4 November 2018 in the premises of the PVA Expo Prague exhibition complex, Czech Republic. The trade show will feature more than 280 exhibitors from all over the world , offering fascinating products in all areas where cannabis is employed as a universa l plant. Visitors may look forward to a rich selection from natural cosmetics, hemp specialties, original clothing and ecological building materials. A wide range of growing equipment , seeds and vaporizers will be for sale ; media and organizations involved in raising awareness about cannabis will also be in attendance. The lecture topic at this year’s Cannafest will focus mainly on the therapeutic potential of cannabis . The trade show is hosting an international conference taking place on 3 – 4 November , featuring scientists, doctors and patients from the Czech Republic and abroad. Renowned specialists will include Dr. Ilya Rezni k from Israel and Dr. Radovan Hřib from St. Anna’s hospital in Brno who will talk about the use of cannabis in chronic pain treatment. Attention will be also given to legal issues, where both Czech politicians and activists will be given space. Special focus will be dedicated to the use of cannabis extract in therapy for which a panel debate will be held. All lectures will be simultaneously translated into English or Czech. From 1 – 2 November, the European – American Cannabis Business Conference will take place in the same conference space , focusing on closer economic collaboration between Europe and the Americas. The Cannafest Free Zone will offer a full three – day music program. Visitors can look forward to popular stars of reggae scene such as Medial Banana from Slovakia, Uwe Banton from Germany or Colectiv & MessenJah and Mr. Cocoman & Solid Vibes from the Czech Republic. In the evenin g, the music program will continue in two clubs in the city center: Cross Club and Strom Club Prague. Cannafest visitors will have free entry to all music events. Visitors to Cannafest will enjoy an attractive accompanying program , interactive workshops and contests. There is also a Kids’ Fun Zo ne where children can play, and parents are allowed to change their babies or ask professional babysitters to take care of children from 2+ years of age.
